Step 8: Editing Courses

Edit the course templates provided, or create your own course from scratch. 

It's easy to create courses on any subject, with up to 12 interactive activities. 

Once you're in the editor, you can view your courses by clicking on Courses in the left side menu.

You'll see you have three pre-loaded course templates already available for you to edit.

Templates

You can personalize templates with your own assets, use items like images and audio that we've provided, or generate new assets with AI.

We help you get started with three pre-loaded templates:

  • Microlearning
  • Onboarding
  • Training

Edit the course title and description

  1. Click on the course you want to edit.
  2. Scroll down to Details.
  3. Under Title, edit the text.
  4. Under Description, edit the text. 

Change the course thumbnail

  1. Click on the course you want to edit.
  2. Scroll down to Design.
  3. In the Thumbnail field, click the X to remove the default image.
  4. Upload your own thumbnail by clicking on the Upload icon. 
  5. Select your thumbnail image on your computer.

If you have a thumbnail already uploaded in the File Library or used elsewhere in your project, click on the Folder icon to select the file from the Library.


Change the course welcome page logo

  1. Click on the course you want to edit.
  2. Scroll down to Design.
  3. In the Welcome Page Logo field, click the X to remove the default image.
  4. Upload your own logo by clicking on the Upload icon. 
  5. Select your logo image on your computer.

If you have a logo already uploaded in the File Library or used elsewhere in your project, click on the Folder icon to select the file from the Library.


Change the background image

  1. Click on the course you want to edit.
  2. Scroll down to Design.
  3. In the Background Image field, click the X to remove the default image.
  4. Upload your own background by clicking on the Upload icon. 
  5. Select your background image on your computer.

If you have a logo already uploaded in the File Library or used elsewhere in your project, click on the Folder icon to select the file from the Library.


Select a sound pack

Each template comes with a sound pack by default, but our editor comes with pre-set audio if you want to change it to something else. 

  1. Click on the course you want to edit.
  2. Scroll down to Design.
  3. Under Sound Pack, select the audio you want from the dropdown menu.

Edit the Introduction Popup

When your user first starts the course, they will be shown a popup that introduces them to the course content.

  1. Click on the course you want to edit.
  2. Scroll down to Introduction Pop-up.
  3. Under Intro Popup Title, edit the text. 
  4. Under Intro Popup Description, add your own description. 
  5. Under Intro Popup Image, upload your logo or custom image.

Activities

In your course, you can view, edit, or add an activity.

Edit the Menu

In your course menu, you can add additional helpful documents or links to the course Library.

  1. Click on the course you want to edit.
  2. Scroll down to Menu.
  3. Click on the section you want to edit. Our templates come with Resources and Credits.
  4. You can also click the Create New button to add a new section.
  5. Edit the Title.
  6. Upload a document or add a link.
  7. Click the Save icon to save your entry.

Save your changes

  1. Click the Save icon in the top right corner.

You must save your changes before you can Preview or Publish your project.


Preview your project

Preview your project to see what your changes look like before you publish.

  1. Click on the course you want to preview.
  2. Scroll down to Publish.
  3. Click the Preview button to launch your preview in a new tab.

Publish your course

Once you've completed all your changes, and are happy with how they look, you are ready to publish your course. 

  1. Click on the course you want to preview.
  2. Scroll down to Publish.
  3. Click the Publish button.

This will publish only changes made to this course.
